A banda portuense, responsável pelo álbum "Paper Cuts and Heartbeats" - actualmente em apresentação -, deverá subir ao palco super bock super rock do evento a 10 de Julho, juntamente com os The Ting Tings, Late of the Pier, The Gaslight Anthem, Hadouken!, Does it Offend You, Yeah? e Fischerspooner.
Recorde-se que os John is Gone arrecadaram, no âmbito do Rock Rendez Worten, os prémios Talento, Melhor Artista Pop e Melhor Canção Pop.
Nesse mesmo dia, actuam no palco principal do Alive! os Prodigy, Placebo, Eagles of Death Metal, The Kooks e Os Pontos Negros.
O Alive!09 decorre no Passeio Marítimo de Algés de 9 a 11 de Julho. Já à venda, os bilhetes custam entre € 50 (bilhete único) e € 90 (passe para três dias).
